Port of Anchorage Intermodal Expansion Project

 The Port of Anchorage Intermodal Expansion Project is a major transportation infrastructure project within the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska.  Port expansion activities include the development of an additional 152 acres of land for industrial commercial use and to support rapid military deployment from Alaska’s bases.  The Port of Anchorage is a vital and integral part of Alaska life; serving 80% of the commercial goods for 90% of the State’s population.

The U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration has contracted with ICRC to provide program management for the Port of Anchorage expansion.

Overview

ICRC is a full service provider offering a valuable combination of technical, program and construction management expertise for large infrastructure development and improvement projects - including environmental management, permitting, design management, and procurement services. ICRC focus is development and expansion of major systems and facilities, as described below:
