New Board Members Guide ICRC into Next Phase of Growth

Perry Eaton and Ronald Unger Bring Proven Business Expertise and History of Service to Alaskan Native Community

ALEXANDRIA, VA – October 12, 2005 – Integrated Concepts & Research Corporation (ICRC), a diversified technical and management services company, announced today it has elected two new members to its Board of Directors, Perry Eaton and Ronald Unger. Eaton and Unger are both shareholders of Koniag, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation, and serve on the Boards of Directors of Koniag and Koniag Development Corporation, Koniag’s wholly owned subsidiary and ICRC’s parent company.

Eaton works for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company as a senior corporate advisor. Prior to working for Alyeska, Eaton was the founding president and CEO of the Alaska Native Heritage Center, a gathering place, learning center and information clearinghouse for Alaska Native culture.  Eaton also serves on several additional boards and committees, including the Civilian Advisory Board to the Alaskan Command, the Alaska Native Arts Foundation and the Alaska Humanities Forum.

“Perry brings to the ICRC Board decades of experience serving the Alaska Native community,” said Jim Lexo, president and CEO of ICRC. “His service, as well as his true appreciation for Native culture, has made him a trusted leader in Alaska.”

Unger is the president and CEO of Work Smart, Inc., an information technology services company he founded in 2000. Before founding Work Smart, Unger served as a project manager for Fluor Corporation, a global diversified services company. He began his engineering career with the Anchorage-based firm HDR, Inc. Unger’s aptitude for technology and business was recognized by Koniag early in his career with scholarships from the Koniag Education Foundation while pursuing his undergraduate civil engineering degree and his master’s degree in business administration.

"We are particularly pleased to have Ron on our Board,” Lexo said. “Ron’s engineering and IT experience perfectly fits our skill sets. On top of it, he is a business owner himself and knows the trials and tribulations of growing a company.”

Eaton and Unger join other ICRC Board members Richard Frost, a long time Koniag and ICRC Board member; Tom Panamaroff, president and CEO of Koniag Development Corporation; and Jim Lexo, president and CEO of ICRC.
